So, my best friend and I hit Starbucks last night (it's one of our "things" we do - and ranks up there with giving ourselves Mommy Medals). The CHILD behind the counter makes a joke to one of the other employees about my being her MOTHER. I told her I wasn't old enough to be her mother, to which she replied something to the effect of, "My mom is, like, 33 or something like that." Ouch. So I guess technically it could be possible since in fact I am NOT 33 but pretty close. She totally lost her tip.Friday, June 27, 2008

Good Grief!! Someone my age with a daughter old enough to work?? Seems impossible...but just remember...they must have started EARLY!
